The Cousins Maine Lobster food truck played a key part in the inception of Forwheel, so it feels only right to share our love of their incredible food with you. Starting out in 2011, Cousins is a sizable franchise these days, with over 20 trucks in 13 cities. Thankfully for us, one of those cities is New York!

Cousins is a well-known food truck that has shown the potential of what a food truck can be. With their delicious lobster dishes and successful business model, they have proven that food trucks can be a lucrative and rewarding venture. However, it is important to note that starting and operating a food truck, especially at scale, is not easy and may not be feasible for most. That's where Forwheel comes in. Our company aims to help all food trucks, regardless of size, achieve their potential and succeed in the food truck industry. With our support and services, we hope to create a universally accessible and memorable experience in the world of mobile food.

But, now time to talk lobster...

Let's get started with the Connecticut Roll - hands down our menu favorite! Featuring Maine lobster meat, served warm with butter and lemon, rolled up inside a soft, flaky crust and sprinkled with Old Bay seasoning, this delicious sandwich is perfect for lunch or dinner (or breakfast, let's be honest!) With just the right amount of heat and flavor, it’s  a little piece of heaven and sure to please even the pickiest eater.

The iconic Maine Roll is the second of the two classic roll style sandwiches available and also a must try when you visit a Cousin Maines food truck. They serve it chilled with mayonnaise on a traditional New England roll with a side of tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. I wouldn't be willing to throw down if you tried to tell me you preferred this over the Connecticut, put it that way.

We are still working our way through the menu (so many food trucks, so little time) but the last item on the menu we can vouch for is their ultimate luxury classic Maine Lobster Tail. Perfectly sweet and succulent, these 4-5oz. tails are sourced from the cold waters off the coast of Maine and cooked in a house-made garlic butter. Served in the shell, each order comes with a generous portion of drawn butter - perfect for dipping - and also a side of crisp tater tots.

Although our menu review ends here, their menu has plenty more to offer. Here's what else you can look forward to:

LOBSTER GRILLED CHEESE Maine lobster, pepper jack & cheddar cheeses, on Texas style toast

LOBSTER QUESADILLA Maine lobster, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, cilantro lime sauce, on a flour tortilla
